Your line becomes business-critical
Once accounting, email, files and phones are cloud-hosted, a broadband outage stops the whole business rather than one system. Resilience should be budgeted as part of the migration, not afterwards.
Check upload before you migrate
Initial data uploads to cloud storage can take days on an asymmetric line. Plan the seeding phase around your actual upstream speed and schedule it out of hours.
Prioritise traffic
Configure quality of service so voice and payment traffic take priority over file sync and updates. Without it, a large backup starting mid-morning will degrade every call in the building.
